Disneyland – It's a Small World Mary Blair Tapestry Production Sample (Walt Disney, 2005). For Disneyland's 50th anniversary, Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily designed this woven cotton tapestry based on the original designs of Imagineer Mary Blair for It's a Small World. This gorgeous concept for the attraction's façade is a beautiful representation of Blair's work on the attraction. The final tapestry was released in the Disney Catalog 2005 in an edition of only 1000 pieces, however this particular example was retained by Kevin and Jody as their production sample. It features a wooden dowel and hanging string along the top edge, where the final version would have a metal rod. There are gold metallic thread accents throughout the woven cotton. The tapestry measures 37.5" x 24", including the dowel. It has hand-written production notation on a strip of tape on the back side. The condition is Very Good with little wear.
