Walt Disney's Carolwood Pacific Railroad 4.5ft "Lilly Belle" Locomotive Blueprint (Walt Disney, 1967). This is an exceptionally rare full-scale blueprint for the Lilly Belle, a 1:8-scale live steam locomotive named after Walt Disney's wife Lillian, that ran on Walt's backyard miniature railroad, the Carolwood Pacific Railroad. The blueprint features the designs by Walt Disney Studios machinist Ed Sargeant, with his original work dated 10-23-52. Identified throughout are the Lilly Belle's part names and numbers, giving a seldom scene and gorgeous view of this historic locomotive. This blueprint, while featuring the artwork as used in 1952 in the first 2 years of the railroad's operation, also features a revision date of 8-25-67, just months after Walt Disney's death. As such, the blueprint wonderfully represents both the beginning and ending years of Walt's involvement with his beloved Carolwood Pacific Railroad, and his Lilly Belle. The blueprint measures an impressive 54" x 27". It is in Fair condition with some nicks and wear throughout, as well as surface wear throughout from use and age.
