Disneyland – Frontierland 54" Silkscreened Park Attraction Poster (Walt Disney, c. 1956). "Colorful exciting adventures aboard the 'Mark Twain,' The River Pirate Keel Boats, & Indian War Canoes – All in... Frontierland." This is a stunning original hand-silkscreened attraction poster for Frontierland at Disneyland. These large attraction posters were utilized throughout the Park, promoting the Park's original lands and attractions to countless wide-eyed guests during Disneyland's earliest years. Depicted here are the Mark Twain, Keel Boats, Indian War Canoes, and Tom Sawyer Island. The poster was designed by Bjorn Aronson, and remains one of the most endearing of the Park's original attraction posters. It measures 36" x 54" and is in Very Good condition with minor edge-wear. There are a few faint handling creases, and a small tear at the top edge has been reinforced with tape on the back side. Silkscreened attraction posters are some of the most sought-after Disneyland artifacts, with this specific example coming from the collection of a former Imagineer.
