Disneyland – Main Street Station Disneyland Flag (Walt Disney, c. 1960s). As countless guests entered the Park through Main Street, they would see flags such as this proudly flown over the Disneyland Railroad's Main Street Station. This is an original, double-sided Disneyland flag from the earliest years of the Park. It is made of fabric with additional fabric letters and Sleeping Beauty Castle and fireworks imagery that is sewn into both sides. There are two metal grommets at the edge for use in flying the flag. This design is so iconic of the early Disneyland experience, that for the Park's 50th anniversary, Disney offered a replica of this flag in a smaller size and silkscreened on nylon. However, originals from the Park are exceptionally hard to find. The flag measures approximately 40" x 25.5" and is in Very Good condition.
