Disneyland – Plaza Inn First Edition Model by Bob Olszewski (Walt Disney, 2007). The Disneyland Main Street U.S.A. Collection is a series of architectural models representing those structures existing on Main Street U.S.A. in the Disneyland Park in California. Presented is a first edition model of Plaza Inn from the collection by miniaturist and sculptor Bob Olszewski released in 2007. Plaza Inn is known for their amazing fried chicken, decadent desserts and the popular all-you-can-eat buffet "Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park". The collection was started with the concept of creating a Department 56 style village, with a working train being able to go around the village. The village would be completed with character and vehicles to create an interactive collectible model. Other attractions and other icons were added as time progresses. Through the collaborative efforts with Olszewski Studios and the Disney Imagineers each state-of-the-art reproduction captures the magic and spirit of Walt Disney's "Happiest Place on Earth." This impressive miniature measures about 14" x 12". Exquisitely detailed with special lighting allowing the collector to view the park both in the daytime as well as nighttime. It comes in the original packaging with a Disney COA. The model has never been displayed and was opened for the first time for this inspection and photography. It is untested and sold as-is.
