Disneyland – Splash Mountain Attraction Vehicle Guest Safety Bumper Prop (Walt Disney, c. 2000s). "Warning! You may get wet! Splash Mountain is a turbulent flume adventure with high speeds, heights, and sudden drops and stops." This is an original safety bumper prop from an attraction vehicle for Disneyland's Splash Mountain attraction. These wood-look padded bumpers were installed on the backs of headrests to help protect guests during any "sudden drops and stops." It is composed of a painted thick padded layer over plastic and metal for securing it within the attraction.
