Disneyland – King Arthur Carrousel Attraction History Construction Wall Sign (Walt Disney, c. 2013). "...And they rode upon prancing white steeds." This is a gorgeous large attraction sign, used on the construction wall of Fantasyland's King Arthur Carrousel during a period of refurbishment. While the Carrousel was being refurbished, several signs providing history on this historic carrousel were placed on the guest-facing side of the construction wall. This wooden sign described the period of Disneyland history between 1975 and 1982. In 1975, the horses on King Arthur Carrousel were all painted white so that each rider could enjoy galloping upon a knight's white steed. Each horse's bridles, saddles, flowers, and other accents were painted uniquely to each horse. Additionally, nine hand-painted panels depicting scenes from the story of Sleeping Beauty were placed within the attraction, to link it thematically with its nearby Park icon, Sleeping Beauty Castle. This wonderful artifact of Disneyland history measures approximately 48" tall, and is in Good condition with some spots of surface and edge wear from use and age.
