Pirates of the Caribbean "The Auctioneer" SOLD-OUT Limited Edition Bronze Figure (Walt Disney, 2005). You better get your pirate hats on because this is a real treasure - and you don't even have to dig for it! Presented in this lot is a sold-out limited edition bronze figure of the auctioneer from Disneyland's Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. The beautifully detailed sculpture was created to celebrate Disneyland's 50th anniversary and is an unnumbered edition of only 1500 ever created. We haven't seen any of these figures before and they are stunning. You can see everything from the beads on the auctioneer's necklace to the wispy ends of his whip. The approximately 6.25'' x 6.5'' auctioneer is based off an original concept by Disney Legend and one of Disney's Nine Old Men Marc Davis (1913 – 2000). The figure is placed on a marble base with a 5'' diameter. On the bottom of the base is the official Disney copyright as well as the basic information on the figure. Good condition overall with light debris, minor handling wear, hints of oxidization expected from a nearly 25 year old statue, and a slightly wobbly figure.
