Heavy surface dirt; minor areas of fill concentrated along upper and lower edges of sheet; graphite lines along upper, lower, and left edges; scattered scuffs throughout, mostly visible in raking light; four hard handling creases in lower third in black element, with related cracking to ink, largest no longer than 1 inch in length; two possible repaired tears along lower edge; sheet laid to paper backed to linen; linen backing hinged to backmat in two places along upper edge verso.
