Equipped with many Edelbrock parts providing approx. 300 hp. The year 1974 was the last year during which they built the first Dodge Challenger model. There were 16,437 units built in that year. After only five years, the model disappeared from the range. In 1972, the Challenger got another facelift with a redesigned front. The convertibles were scrapped and the Hemi engine was no longer available. Because of the high surcharge of more than 1,000 USD, it was not much in demand.
