Dodge - D2 Coupe Convertible - 1936

Beautiful and very rare Dodge D2 convertible from 1936. Better known as the Dodge D2, Convertible Coupé and also referred to as the Dodge Beauty Winner. Unique for a Roadster from that time are the fixed windscreen and fixed windows in the front doors, and of course the rumble seat. The proportions of the bodywork are sleek, long and low which give this Dodge a beautiful 30s classic deco style look. The combination with the black leather interior really completes the car. The convertible mechanism has a lacquered wooden frame with matching black linen top and a glass rear window. The Dodge was completely restored a few years ago, as a result everything about it (the paint, interior, condition of the chassis) is as good as new. It’s obvious from everything this Dodge D2 was restored by a skilled master craftsman with very high standards using the best materials. This beautiful classic is "show ready" and a real collector's item, a must have, very few were built. The "straight six" (6) cylinder engine (218 cu in (3. 6 L) 87 hp (65 k. W) flathead) and manual transmission have only done 2. 000 km and are in mint condition, as well as the chassis. Some options are chrome wheel rings, new (!) whitewall tyres and a dual exhaust. The back has a beautiful, original steel cover for the spare wheel sprayed in body colour. Double carburettor and dual exhaust. Delivery throughout Europe is possible. It has a Dutch registration. The car is in Rijssen, the Netherlands (a viewing by appointment is possible) . European import tax has been paid.
