Dodge WC 57 (Converted WC 52) with Winch from year 1942.

Everything is in perfect working condition without defects or malfunctions. No wear or worn parts. The engine runs nicely and the car drives, brakes and shifts as it should.

Model toilet. W stands for the year the series was ordered for mass production: 1941, and C stands for the payload class at that time: a 1/2 American ton -450kg on unpaved surfaces. The WC code also remained in use for the production years 1942-1945.

From 1941 onwards, thousands of examples of the WC series Dodge were produced, in many different versions depending on the required use. Equipped with a 3. 8 liter six-cylinder petrol engine with side valves.

This army vehicle was and is extremely robust and played an important role in the successes of the American army. They were used for communications and transporting staff officers. This model could be equipped with a winch (WC-57) or a radio (WC-58) .
