Photos of the Congress of the Situationist International (SI), an international organization of social revolutionaries made up of avant-garde artists, intellectuals and political theorists. Among those portrayed: Guy Debord (1931-1994), French Marxist theorist, philosopher, filmmaker and critic of work; founding member of the Situationist International and also member of the Letterist International and founder of the Letterist faction. And Michèle Bernstein (b. 1932), French novelist and critic, most often remembered as a member of the SI from its foundation until 1967. She was the first wife of Guy Debord.
