W 20 cm. D 18cm This automaton I Hinatsu doll is in good working order. When the host put tea cup on the tray, she walk down to the customer and customer lift up the cup then she stops. Customer put cup down on the tray, she rotates tower the host and come back to host, lift up cup then she stops. . All actions go smoothly with no trouble. You wind the main spring by key. We call this doll as tea serving doll “茶運び人形”, original automaton doll was developped at end of 1800’s. Last three pics are documents of original back in 18C. This automaton was reproduced along with original blueprint. This automaton was produced in 60’s along per original blue print back in 18C and one of the best example ever made.
