Double Mounted Spurs By Kevin Burns

Presented for your pleasure is a wonderfully designed pair of double mounted spurs by the well-known contemporary maker Kevin Burns. Kevin is a Texas bit and spur maker who has been at it since 1983. In 2008, Kevin won the Adolph Bayers Award and is listed in Bits & Spurs Motifs, Techniques and Modern Makers by Ned & Jody Martin. These spurs are decorated with nice engraved overlay designs throughout the whole band and shank. The pictures say it all, this is a really nice set of spurs!
MAKER: Stamped Burns (Kevin Burns).
APPROX AGE: Modern.
SIZE: The heel openings measure 3 1/2 inches, the bands measure 1 inch, and the shanks measure 3 5/8 inches overall.
CONDITION: Average to good for their age, normal wear and minor imperfections expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
