Condition Report:
The painting is in a reasonable condition.
It has been relined.
Tension is good.
The paint layer is in a reasonable condition.
It does not seem to show any visible loss or uplift.
It is very dark and dirty.
The varnish layer is also dirty.
A drip of varnish can be seen on circa 50 cm, running from the upper edge towards the bottom, circa 20 cm from the left edge.

Under UV light
A few minor areas of retouching appear, scattered throughout the surface.
A retouching appears lower right, along a former tear in an X shape that has been restored.
It goes on horizontally, along the dress of the young girl, on circa 30 cm.

Offered with a gilt wood frame.

Quelques zones de repeints de faible importance apparaissent, disséminées sur la toile.
Dans l'angle inférieur droit, une retouche apparaît le long d'une ancienne déchirure en X restaurée.
Elle se prolonge horizontalement le long de la robe de la jeune fille, sur environ 30 cm.
