DESCRIPTION
Doulton Lambeth stoneware tobacco jar and cover which features a mouse, seated on a cushion, smoking a pipe. Colouration: brown, green, cobalt blue, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Doulton Lambeth pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1317'.

CONDITION

Cover: Good. RESTORATION: Filled chips to both ears. Jar: Good. No restoration. Some small flakes to he leaves. KILN EFFECTS: glaze miss to the top cobalt border; a few specks of kiln grit caught in the glaze to the exterior.
