Dracula

Actor Bela Lugosi brought both sensual and suspenseful elements to his portrayal of Count Dracula, a performance so electric that no other actor has been able to touch it for over 80 years. The film is loosely based on Bram Stoker's original novel with a screenplay written by Hamilton Deane, John L. Balderston, and a handful of uncredited writers, including director Tod Browning.
