Draped Bust Silver Dollar Identified To Soldier-104th Pennsylvania

Draped bust silver dollar dated 1800 with hole at top. Attached note by Eugene Lomas reads "USED AS A TEETHING RING WHEN A BABY BY ABRAHAM ANGENY, PVT. CO. A 104TH PA. INF. 10/6/61 DIED AT YORKTOWN VA. JUNE 6, 1862 NATIONAL CEMETERY SECT D. GRAVE 288". With exception of hole coin would grade VG+/Fine. Abraham Angeny enlisted on September 6, 1861 and was mustered in as a private in Company A, 104th Pennsylvania Infantry on September 6, 1861 at Doylestown, Pennsylvania. He died of disease on June 6, 1862 at Yorktown, Virginia and is buried at Yorktown National Cemetery, Yorktown, Virginia in Gravesite: D-288. Provenance: Eugene T.
