Founded in 1920 by the eccentric multimillionaire French-Algerian industrialist Henri Dresch, Dresch motorcycles needed an equally memorable visual presence. This shadow-golem, sheltering one of Dresch's fine pieces of machinery, epitomizes the coolness of Art Deco.
