Dresden Porcelain Figural and Floral Table Centerpiece. Modelled in three sections: the cylindrical basket, with three galleries pierced alternately as basket; oblongs and rectangles, modelled in low relief with blue banderole, and blue flowerheads centering yellow faces at the upper interstices; modelled atop a straight cylindrical stand, supported by four nude putti holding trumpet fire, corncucopia and one with a skin; atop a squat base on four scroll feet. Blue underglazed crossed swords mark with a dot and 2 above. Dresden, Germany. Circa 1950. {Approximate dimensions: 23 high x 13 3/4 inches diameter overall.}. Condition: A 1 7/8" section of the scalloped rim to the base has broken off and is absent; the top of the columnar support has a 1" chip and that section is absent. section of the long end of the trumpet broken off, restored and another part replaced and overpainted. hand holding flame with crack, a 3" long firing crack to base. Some of the seams are visible.
