Duchoiselle Gilt Bronze Bust

Gilt bronze (dore?) bust on marble base / plinth, signed Duchoiselle on reverse. Late 19th century, French. Executed in a Neoclassical / Academic / Beaux Arts style. Excellent bust of a woman / goddess with a wreath of cat-tails and flowers. Floral motifs on gilt brass base on white marble base / plinth. Some chipping on marble base, and spots of dried glue on base and bust. Possible missing portion to wreath / diadem. Bust seems to have been glued onto base, as the metals do not seem to match.
