Ducq, Johan le (1630-1676). (Two dogs). Etching from the series of 8 The Set of the Dogs, 14,2x18 cm., signed, numb. "6" and dated "1661" in the plate.
- With central fold and sl. (finger)soiled; trimmed on the platemark. = Hollstein 6, 2nd state of 3.
Fyt, Jan (1611-1661). The sleeping dogs. Etching, 16,7x22 cm., "Fyt" in the plate.
- Large closed tear in upper left corner; trimmed just outside the borderline.
= Hollstein 15, prob. 2nd state of 3. With the collector's mark of Juan Jorge Peoli (1825-1893, Lugt 2020), the manuscript collector's mark of Leonard and Lisa Baskin (1922-2000, Lugt 4475) and annotations in pencil "M.F.A. Boston" and "H.F. Sewall" and "dupl." (but not the usual marks of these 2 collections).
