The present and following lot were painted as decorations to cover two large loudspeakers, a commission from Grant's Sussex neighbours, the diplomat Sir Harry Lintott and his wife Margaret. They are believed to be unique and were painted at Charleston.
Grant has designed the Baffle Boards so that they can be displayed either freestanding or wall hung.
