Durgin Sterling Silver Coffee Pot with Gorham Sterling Silver Underplate

Elegant ovoid sterling coffee pot with gadrooning on body, domed hinged lid and ball finial, "S" scroll handle with bone insulators, pronounced swan spout, oval foot with serpentine rim, floral garlands, acanthus and foliate designs, monogrammed, marked underneath, 11" x 11 ⅝" x 4 ¾". Gorham sterling underplate with wide border and pronounced serpentine rim, similar to pot design, marked on the bottom, 1" x 11" x 8 ¾". Total weight 42.05 toz.

Condition: Good, some tarnish and polish residues, some wear from normal use, finial a later replacement.
