mid-19th century, the rectangular top above a slant front opening to a central arched cupboard flanked to either side by three short drawers, over a lower bombe section fitted with three long drawers, raised on splayed feet, the whole with elaborate inlaid floral and foliate marquetry patterns.

Condition Report: In very good polished and restored condition, exhibiting normal shrinkage, mars, wear, and indications of age and use. The case is sturdy and stable. Retains functional locks and keys. There is a filled shrinkage crack on the top, extending in about 10" from the end. There are some small veneer flakes on the bottom edges of the aprons on each side. There is a veneer loss at the bottom of one rear leg, about 2-1/2" x 3-1/2".
