Condition Report: Structurally sound. With a deep, smoky, nutty color to the highly figured timber. General marks, nicks, scratches, cracking, lifting, scattered losses and wear. Timber to top skimmed. Reverse of slant front with later inset writing surface. Hinges replaced. Hardware replaced. Shrinkage cracks to sides. Losses and replacements to moldings. Areas of patched and overpainted restorations. Feet replaced. No key.
