Dwight D. Eisenhower Travel Tokens and Signature
Five silver-tone travel tokens from the collection of Ike's longtime military aide Robert L. Schulz, displayed in a 3.25 x 6.75 x 1 block of Lucite, commemorating President Eisenhower's "Far East Trip, 12–26 June 1960." The four larger tokens represent the president's tour of Hawaii, Korea, the Philippines, Okinawa, Formosa, and Japan, while the small token is for his "Western Trip, 17–25 October 1960." On the reverse, the larger tokens read, "With Appreciation From," with his facsimile signature below, "Dwight D. Eisenhower," and the small token reads, "With Appreciation," followed by his initials in block letters, "D.D.E." Also includes an ink signature, "Dwight D. Eisenhower," on an off-white 4 x 2.75 slip clipped from the close of a letter. In overall fine condition.
