Signed and inscribed on one of the front free endpapers, "For Charles Trelms - with best wishes from Dwight D Eisenhower 15 May 1962." An octavo volume, xiv, 559pp including an index. The book has 44 maps within, with 6 color maps and the rest being in-text. Also contains 16 photographs. With brown cloth-covered boards, a facsimile of Eisenhower's signature on the front in black ink, and gilt lettering on the spine. The volume has shelf wear and soiling. Additional scratching to the spine title. Minor bumping to the corners and spine edges. Light edge toning to the internal pages. Cracked binding and slightly cockled. Boldly signed by Eisenhower, overall very good.
