Dzi and agate bead bracelet, Liao dynasty
A bracelet comprising twelve spherical agate beads in shades of red, orange and honey, with characteristic central and linear veining in ivory tones, strung alongside a prominent central Dzi-style bead of fusiform shape. The Dzi stands out for its intricate natural ‘eye’ pattern at its centre. Liao Dynasty (916–1125) or later.
