English, early 20th century. Large carved mahogany secretaire bookcase in the Georgian Chippendale taste decorated with musical trophies, shells, and floral swags, having a shape cornice above double astragal glazed doors, fall front writing surface opening to reveal a fitted interior, double doors, and rising on bracket feet decorated with shells. Unmarked. Approx. h. 97", w. 49.5", d. 24"
