Very Beautiful Old Religious Bas-Relief Depicting Christ on the Cross Signed Courtépee
This sculpture is mounted in an oval black wooden frame of Napoleon III, of which the glass is missing. The bas-relief is in a remarkable state of preservation.

This bas relief represents Christ on the Cross kneeling Mary Magdalene and standing 3 women in adoration.

Note the very good condition of this bas relief as well as all the details of the 5 characters, and its decoration.
The patina of the whole is consistent. Also note the presence of the artist's signature at the bottom right of the bas relief.
