Federal Period Emblematic Wall Plaque, probably from a Meeting House, in painted pine, depicting a Spreadwing American Eagle grasping a Shield atop a Battlement, the bird in black and white, the shield in polychrome, roughly 62" x 22" x 3 1/2". Weathered, worn edges, loss to wingtip and rocks. Nice patina.
