An early 20th century military interest Scots Guards 18ct gold emerald and amethyst and diamond brooch pin. The brooch having a central thistle motif set with amethyst and emerald, framed within a green enamelled border inscribed with the national motto of Scotland 'NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSIT', to a rose cut diamond pavé set St Andrew's saltire with radiating star. Marked 18ct and PT verso. Weight 6.9g. Measures 2.25cm. All weights, measurements and sizes are approximate.
