EARLY COLT ARMY SPECIAL .41 REVOLVER (1912)
SERIAL 337367. BARREL 4.5". CALIBER .41 LONG COLT. MADE IN 1912. The Army Special was introduced in 1908 and few are found in .41 caliber. Features include a six shot fluted cylinder, blue finish, fixed sights with Colt stylized (C) gutta percha grips. Barrel has two line address and still retains glimpses of original factory blue but has turned soft gray/blue patina. Legends are sharp. Grips are excellent with some bumps at base. Action is smooth as silk and indexes correctly with a tight lock up. Bore is sharp with light frosting in grooves. C&R*
