EARLY CROWN GLASS KEROSENE STAND LAMP, colorless font, translucent jade green Baroque base, brass connector, No. 2 brass fine-line collar. Fitted with a No. 2 "HOLMES, BOOTH & HAYDEN'S/COMET" slip burner with attached shade ring, period bullet-form chimney, frosted and colorless baluster-form shade. Maker unverified. Circa 1870.
Condition: Chimney and shade undamaged; lamp in excellent condition with a small chip to the edge of the top step, scattered flaking/roughness to the table ring and the interior of the base, probably as made.
Size: 14 1/8" H to top of collar, 5 1/2" SQ base.
