EARLY THUMBPRINT / ARGUS (OMN) PAPERWEIGHT, opaque starch blue, solid body with two rows of thumbprints, an applied cut-facet finial, and a rayed base with polished table ring. Bakewell, Pears & Co. Third quarter 19th century. 3 1/2" HOA, 3 1/2" D base.
Sizeable bruise to the base edge and a minor bruise to the body, minor bruise to the finial.
