Drunk recently at a wonderful New York dinner party when it was served with a brilliant duck consommé with wild mushroom ravioli which perfectly picked up the earthy intensity of the wine. Ripe and 'sweet', it turned to chocolate in the glass. Lacy, ethereal finish. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
