Condition
This work is in very good condition. There is evidence of some canvas draw to the upper corners and the canvas is slightly slack. There is evidence of some light frame rubbing in places to the extreme edges and light wear with associated small paint losses and some short hairline tension cracks in places to the turning edges. Very close inspection reveals a short line of some hairline craquelure with associated very small paint losses and a few tiny holes towards the upper left corner. There is a thin and short rub mark in the white passage of the lower left quadrant. Very close inspection reveals a small spot of craquelure to the thicker white paint in the upper right quadrant. All other surface irregularities are in keeping with the artist's choice of media and method of execution. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no signs of inpainting.
