HISTORY
In 1944, Edvin Öhrström designed vases, bowls and flacons using ariel blanks, so-called Edvin glass. The process starts with an ariel blank, i.e., a gather with several layers of glass where the decoration is sandblasted, after which the ariel blank is reheated and shaped. A total of 111 pieces of Edvin glass were produced between 1944 and 1949. The Edvin glass in this auction was produced in the first year.Show more
