EDWARD WESTON
1886-1958
'CHURCH AT HORNITOS'

gelatin silver print, mounted, initialed and dated in pencil on the mount, signed, titled, dated, and with 'ML40-H-6' in pencil on the reverse, framed, 1940
image: 7⅝ by 9⅝ in. (19.4 by 24.4 cm.)
framed: 16¼ by 20¼ in. (41.3 by 51.4 cm.)

Condition Report:
This early print is in generally excellent condition. Upon close examination in raking light, the following are visible: a tiny impression in the right center portion of the image, and a few faint hairline scratches throughout, none of which appear to break the emulsion.

There is minor soiling and some fingerprints on the reverse of the mount. '21411,' '3800,' and '19614 [circled]' are written in an unidentified hand in pencil on the reverse. There are three adhesive tape remnants at the upper and lower edges of the mount.
