New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty Ca. 1353 - 1322 BC.An amazing sandstone relief from the Amarna period. The relief depicts a queen, possibly Nefertiti, engraved with a crowned head in profile, facing left. Behind him, the rays from the God Aton hold out several amulets. The physiognomic features are elongated, typical of the Amarna period, and even the neck seen in profile is slender and curved. This is a well-defined sculpture both in the boundary lines and in the homogeneous depth of the engraving. This piece is accompanied by a historical report from Alessandro Neri, an international Cultural Heritage expert based in Florence, Italy.
