EGYPTIAN HARPOCRATES
Description: Bronze statue representing the god Harpocrates naked and in seated position. He must have been placed on a throne made of wood or bronze which is now lost. He is wearing a braid on the side of the head, as distinctive of a Prince. He is wearing the snake ureus . His arms are close to the body with hands next to his thighs. Legs and feet are attached resting on a small square base.| Egypt. Late Period. 664-332 B.C.
Condition: Intact, preserves an excellent patina with red traces. Notes: The piece includes authenticity certificate.
