EGYPTIAN SCEPTER WITH AMUN-RA

Description: An exceptional egyptian processional bronze scepter with the figure of Amon on lotus flower pedestal. Amun, creator and king of the gods, depicted in a striding position, his left leg advanced in the traditional male pose. He wears a shendit (short skirt) and has the beard of divinity. His left arm is at his side and his right arm is bent at the elbow; the right hand originally held a scepter, which is now lost. On his head we can see his typical crown with two tall feathers and a sun disc.| Egypt. 26th Dynasty. 664-525 B.C.

Condition: Good condition. Dark brown patina. Notes: The piece includes authenticity certificate.
