EGYPTIAN SILVER OSIRIS
Description: A very rare egyptian Osiris. This particularly fine example of the god is shown standing mummyform, cast from silver, and meticulously detailed, wearing the plumed atef-crown with central uraeus and a false plaited beard, carrying a crook and flail across his chest, standing on a short plith,a tenon below the plinth for insertion.| Egypt. Third Intermediate-Late Period. 1070-332 B.C.
Condition: This example is taller than the arruletic type and without any trace of a suspension loop. The figure is intact and of the finest woriananship. Notes: The piece includes authenticity certificate.
