EGYPTIAN STATUETTE OF THE GOD NEFERTEM
Late to Ptolemaic Period, Ca. 400 - 100 BC.
An Egyptian statuette of a crowned god Nefertum wearing a Shendyt loincloth. The head is crowned with a tripartite wig and lotus. The god is represented standing with their left leg extended forward, and the statuette has beautiful red patina. For similar see: MET Museum Accession Number: 38.2.19.
