EGYPTIAN STEATITE SCARAB WITH HYKSOS PANEL

An Ancient Egyptian hand-carved stone scarab amulet. The top features intricate insectile features such as a trapezoidal head, frilled clypeus, and sinuous legs tucked beneath the carapace. Displayed across the bottom are Hieroglyphs also known as ‘Hyksos sides’ or ‘Hyksos panels’. These are also found on royal name scarabs of that period.
