EMERALD, DIAMOND AND PEARL NECKLACE/BROOCH, 19th Century.
Yellow gold, total weight 21g.Composed of 3 strands of seed pearls of ca. 1,9 - 2,4 mm Ø, with finely carved lugs, joined by 1 detachable clasp, usable as a brooch as well, decorated with black enamel, 1 octagonal emerald of ca. 0.70 ct and 4 circular-cut diamonds totalling ca. 0.50 ct. The surround enhanced by volute and rocaille motifs, suspending 2 chains with tassels. L ca. 36,5 cm.Emerald, pearls and diamonds in good condition, black enamel with a nick at the border, gold with some dents on the backside.
