Emmanuel Villanis Signed Iris Bronze Sculpture, possibly marble base, signature to base reads ‘E Villanis’, Inscription to piece reads ‘Iris’, subject a bust of a woman, measures 21 5/8 inches tall x 11 1/4 inches at widest point, some scratches to piece but overall in great condition, Emmanuel Villanis was a French sculptor. He was born in Lille, France, and died in Paris. He studied at the Accademia Albertina in Turin. One of his teachers was Odoardo Tabacchi.
