EMPIRE INKWELL
Made of bronze with a double patina, light brown and gold. The rectangular base, resting on claw-and-clasp feet, is adorned with a band of applied palmette motifs. The front is embellished with a recessed panel featuring a container. The upper section is adorned with a kneeling winged figure holding a water jug, flanked by two cups shaped like ancient vases.
France, circa 1810.
